Ori Pekelman

Ori Pekelman is a co-founder of Upsun (formerly Platform.sh), where over more than a decade he held roles including VP of Marketing, Chief Product Officer, and Chief Strategy Officer. With a 30+ year career in the startup world as a polyglot developer and open source advocate, he wrote extensively on the history and future of web infrastructure, including a three-part series tracing the decades of the open web from 1995 through the rise of machine learning, alongside pieces on platform engineering and the environmental cost of cloud computing.
