Cookies Notice

Cookies are small data files stored on your device by a server and linked to a web domain. They help us personalize your experience and make future visits to our site easier. We use both first-party cookies (set by Us) and third-party cookies (set by trusted partners). Third-party cookies may be used to build a profile of your interests and display relevant advertisements on other websites. When you visit our site, cookies may be downloaded to your device. You can choose to:

  • Accept all cookies.
  • Accept only certain types of cookies.
  • Reject all cookies.

You can also block cookies directly through your browser settings. Please note that these settings will apply across all websites you visit. More information on how to manage cookie settings in each browser is available at:

Examples of cookies we use

A cookie can be classified according to its lifetime, the domain to which it belongs, and its purpose. When you visit our sites, the following types of cookies may be deployed on your device:

Cookie CategoryFunction

Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are necessary for the core features of this site to operate properly. Because they are required for the site to function, they are always active.

Analytics Cookies

Analytics cookies, also known as performance cookies, are used to track how visitors use a website. The information collected helps us understand user behaviour and improve how the website functions and the overall user experience. Google Analytics cookies are among the most commonly used analytics cookies.

Functional Cookies

These cookies allow us to analyze site usage, evaluate and improve performance, and provide an enhanced user experience, such as measuring interactions with specific content or remembering your preferences.

Advertising Cookies

These cookies are used by advertising companies to serve personalized advertisements relevant to your interests. They may also facilitate sharing information with social networks or recording your interactions with specific ads.

UTM Tags and How We Use Them

UTM (Urchin Tracking Module) tags are not the same as cookies. They are parameters added to the end of a URL to help track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. These tags allow us to see which specific links or campaigns brought users to our site.

UTM data is visible in tools such as Google Analytics and Marketo. It helps us understand how users are finding our website and which marketing efforts are performing best. This information is collected in aggregate and does not identify you personally.

As part of this tracking, non-identifiable information such as the traffic source, medium, campaign name, and click ID may be stored in your browser’s local storage. This helps us analyze and improve our marketing efforts so we can better serve you and our audience.

We use pixels, images, and tracking links in our emails. These tools help us see whether and when you open our emails, understand how interested you are in the topics we send, and, where you have agreed, tailor future communications to your preferences.

When you open an email or click a link in it, these tools can interact with our databases and record your browsing activity. These pixels can process the following categories of data:

  • Information about your interactions with our emails.
  • Technical information about your device.
  • Information identifying your user account.

We use these pixels to:

  • Build user profiles based on your interests to adapt our content.
  • Analyze open rates to measure and improve the performance of our communications, including adjusting how often we send them and the channels we use.
  • Measure whether emails are opened.
  • Detect and investigate suspected fraud.

You can change your cookie preferences through your web browser controls or via our dashboard. We are currently working on further improving your consent preferences and will update this Notice accordingly. In the meantime, if you have any requests or wish to exercise your rights, please send an email to dpo@upsun.com
